We Build the Spaces Where Nairobi Works.
Interiors by Violet was founded in Nairobi in 2014 with a simple but powerful conviction: that every business in Kenya deserves a workspace that is thoughtfully designed, professionally built, and delivered on time. What began as a small partitioning and interior fit-out operation has grown, project by project and referral by referral, into one of Nairobi's most trusted commercial interior contractors.
Our founder, Violet, launched the company after years working in project management within Nairobi's construction industry and noticing a consistent gap in the market: clients either worked with large, impersonal contractors who treated small office projects as low priority, or with disorganised informal contractors who lacked the quality control and project management rigour that commercial clients needed. Interiors by Violet was built to fill that space — a company with genuine construction expertise, but one that treated every single project, however large or small, with the same professional care.
Over a decade later, we have completed more than 500 commercial projects across Nairobi — from 30m² single-office fit-outs to multi-floor 2,000m² corporate headquarters. Our clients include commercial banks, international NGOs, multinational corporations, Kenyan government agencies, leading law and accounting firms, healthcare providers, hotels, and fast-growing startups. Every one of them came back to us, or referred us to someone who did.
