About This Project

A tier-one Kenyan bank required a complete ceiling upgrade across their flagship CBD branch. The existing suspended T-bar grid was outdated and no longer reflected the bank's premium positioning in the market. The brief required a dramatic feature ceiling in the banking hall that would create a memorable customer experience, while the back-of-house operational areas needed practical, high-performance acoustic ceiling tiles to reduce noise and improve the working environment for staff. The project was delivered in a phased sequence to allow the branch to remain partially operational throughout.

Scope of Work

  • Multi-level stepped gypsum board ceiling in the banking hall
  • Integrated LED cove lighting throughout all levels
  • Armstrong acoustic mineral fibre tiles to back office
  • Feature lighting track and downlighter integration
  • Cornice, shadow reveals and transitions between ceiling levels
  • Full painting and decoration of all ceiling surfaces
  • Coordination with electrical M&E teams
  • Phased delivery to maintain branch operations
