A large corporate call centre in Upper Hill was experiencing severe noise and reverberance issues that were directly impacting agent wellbeing, call quality scores and absenteeism rates. Floor-level acoustic interventions were not feasible due to the existing desk and infrastructure installation, so a complete replacement of the ceiling plane was specified to maximise acoustic absorption. The project required careful phasing to maintain call centre operations throughout, with works executed in sections during evening and weekend windows.
The difference after the acoustic ceiling installation is remarkable. The call centre is noticeably quieter, agent scores have improved and we have already seen a measurable reduction in stress-related absence since the project was completed.
